Ericsson took over first place in the global microwave equipment market in the second quarter of 2012, barely edging past Huawei and pushing previous leader NEC into third place, according to market research firm Infonetics Research’s microwave equipment vendor market share and forecast.
The industry’s top 37 telecom consulting firms continue to control the vast majority of customers and revenue with their share of the total telecom consulting market increasing. In 2011, telecom consulting revenues from the top 37 players accounted for 90.3% of the industry’s total.
